I Look Like a Prophet

Kim, Amanda, Jocie, and Maddie stayed the night the other night and Amanda put pink sponge curlers in Maddies hair so she could style it cute for school the next day. When she took them out the next morning and showed Maddie her hair in the mirror, Maddie exclaimed, "I look just like the prophet!" We aren't sure if she has seen pictures of George Washington in the white wig or what, but it was cute none the less.

We had a beautiful day with family today. We went to Gracie's blessing, then to Lisa's and Brady's for dinner. These picture were taken in their side yard.

OK this is scary

Kevin and Justin were dressing up as characters from Batman movies for Halloween. Well, Justin was Joker and here is their first attempt at getting the hair right.

Second Attempt

Luckily I find costumes and accessories (such as wigs) at garage sales and DI for a dress up bin the girls play in. Kevin and Justin found a wig in there that worked a lot better.

Cave Falls

Mesa Falls

We took the girls to Mesa Falls. The falls were nice but the girls were cuter.

Jocelyn (what fashion sense)

So we were at the cabin and I was going to take the girls home and put them in the tub before church. We ended up going sight seeing on the way home. Had I known I was going to have such great photo opps I would have made sure Jocie got dressed for it and scrubbed the left over Halloween make-up off her face. Good thing she's so cute.

Ladybug

Jocelyn was so excited about finding a ladybug at the Island Park Resivoir. She made me take pics. It's the blurry red dot on the rock.

Our Girls

The girls are quite the posers. I love the young, innocent age when you can tell them they are beautiful and they believe you.

Emma

Emma loves the lake pictures. She says she like how they have the water in the background.

Madeline

Madeline has such a great smile and beautiful eyes. It's rare I see her without a smile.

The Island Park Resevoir

Wow, I don't know if I had ever been to the Island Park resevoir before but the reflection of the mountains and the trees in the water was amazing. This picture doesn't do it justice.

Big Springs

We took the girls to Big Springs to feed the fish. I cut up a bunch of cheese (the fish's favorite). It was such a beautiful day. I couldn't believe how mild the weather was for the end of October.

Costumes

Ever since Jocelyn played a skunk in a play, she has had a thing for skunks. I bought her a skunk costume for halloween and Kim bought Madeline a Kitty costume. Emma told me she wanted to be a dragon. Lucky for me I found a dragon costume a few days later at a garage sale. It was only a couple of bucks. I definately have my dad's love for bargains.

Harriman Haunt

We went trick-or-treating in Island Park. The forest service employees and many volunteers donate time, money, and supplies to decorate several forest service cabins in a Halloween theme. They give a hay ride to the cabins where families can go trick-or-treating. They also have donuts and hot chocolate.

The Airport Scene

Kevin and Justin have been best friends for years. They were in drama and fencing club together in highschool. Justin left on his mission a month before Kevin. It was great to see them together again.

Homecoming!!!

I can't believe my son is finally home. This was one of the happiest days of my life.
