Paige's Surgery

Paige had some herniated disks in her back and was paralized from the waste down. She had to have back surgery, and now she won't slow down. I took her to Sun Valley to a Dr Randy Acker (he is the best around) and he had her walking again in two days. She is doing great now. She seems to feel better than she has in years. She is such a sweetie.

Activity Days

For Activity Days we went to the Temple Visitor Center. We learned about the temple and about our Saviors love for us.

Garage Sales

I found a great deal on a chocolate fountain at a garage sale. Hmmm, wonder why they were selling it for only a dollar. OK, now for the real story...the chocolate fountain worked fine. I actually didn't have quite enough chocolate to make a nice flow of chocolate so I melted down a Symphony bar and added to it. The machine didn't like the almonds. An almond bumped the metal tiered part off the base and the auger flung it around in circles. I got out the carpet shampooer and Kevin cleaned the carpet while Amanda mopped. I changed clothes and cleaned up the counter top. Then I thought I would be smarter and hold it together with my hand. It seemed like the almonds had worked their way through and the fountain was running smoothly. I decided to let go of the machine. It worked great for a minute and then did the exact same thing again. I was so happy to have Kevin there to clean the carpet, and Amanda there to mop again.
