Class at the Smoky Canyon Mine

Lookin SCARY!

Adam Isaacson (our class facilitator)

I had a great time on my fieldtrip to Smoky Canyon Mine (not mispelled). We were able to see the inner workings of the mine, the reclaimation that's going on, the Conda Station where the slurry is continuing to be pumped through a pipe all the way to Pocatello, and so much nature. The forest service spoke to us and I was able to camp out in the wilderness for an entire week. Rod came to visit for a night and the next day. While there I saw over ten does, one buck, a moose, two fox, several bunnies, eagles, bats, a skunk, lots on chipmunks and ground squirrels, etc. WAY COOL!!! The drive home through Palisades was gorgeous.

Great Friends!

Our Beautiful Idaho Falls Temple
This picture was taken when I went down to the river with Todd. What a beautiful night.

After a rough breakup Todd invited me to go sit down by the river and read. It was such a beautiful, peaceful night and I read in an Ensign about Christ. I took my camera with me a took a few pictures of the temple while I was there.
